Our Milestone Program

To assist seniors in times of illness, recovery, confinement at home, coping with loss of a loved one, and other senior challenges, on July 1, 2018, Lantian Cultural Center signed a collaboration agreement with the Foundation Assisting Seniors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation in Henderson. Since then, Lantian Cultural Center has provided 85 local seniors with various assistive devices. Our 80 plus volunteers have spent their time on the program totaling more than 1,032 hours and received popular recognition by local residents. Next, Lantian Cultural Center will be moving forward to expand its complimentary service to the senior residential areas in Summerlin. Our ultimate goal is to improve the overall quality of life for seniors and veterans by ensuring that they remain as safe and comfortable as possible in their own home as they age. With the support of individual and corporate donors, we look forward to continuing our roles and expanding our resources to help more seniors and veterans in our communities.
If you are 50 years or older, and qualified to receive the complimentary assistive device, please don’t hesitate to contact us. For some large equipment like hospital bed, we deliver it to your home and help assemble it.
